Safety in the home.
There are of course burglaries in properties in Spain. It is therefore very important that homes are secure, both when you leave and when you are in residence.
When leaving home all doors and windows must be closed and locked. If you have installed an alarm it should be activated. This applies even if the home is left only for a short period.
When you are staying in the house, doors and windows in other rooms than the one you are in, should be closed and locked.
Unfortunately there are many examples of burglary, even when the residents are staying in the house, and also during a short absense.
If you have a burglary and some of your property is damaged or you are attacked personally, immediately call the police.
Neighbourhood watch.
We would like to establish a 'Neighbourhood Watch' in Zeniamar 5, but currently we have no contact person. If you can help with this task please contact the President.
We encourage everyone to keep eyes and ears open, and if you see anything suspicious, please call the police.
